Days Inn by Wyndham Shenandoah

My friend has cancer. We live out in the boonies. She needed another pet scan and we were having to leave at 4:00 am for an appointment at 6:30am in Houston.All the money her husband left her has gone to fighting cancer. She's broke and we are not rich... and are in our sixties. We are not familiar with NE Houston. We really needed a clean and inexpensive hotel. I came upon this Days Inn for $54.00. I wasn't expecting much, but the comfort of my friend was important to me. What a nice surprise! The outside was a bit...weathered, but clean and inside was very clean and cared for with clean sheets on the Comfy bed. And only 3 minutes from the hospital! This place was an answer to my prayers. 4 stars. But only because the pool was closed. I highly recommend this Inn for a good night's sleep with no worries.

Front desk staff is amazing! They have kitchenette rooms and they are very awesome with my autistic son!!! There's never anyone fighting outside, and there's a really good restaurant in the parking lot within walking distance from your hotel room. Breakfast is out every morning and you are always greeted with a smile. So glad we picked this place.

Rooms are old and the wall by the bed had some creepy wall paper that needs to be changed asap. The bed sheets and towels were clean, the room did not have a smoked smell. The parking lot was clean and the other hotel guests were quiet even when they were at the pool (the water looked clean as well). The a/c worked perfectly cold. The carpet was old and dirty but there were no bugs anywhere.

Needs to be updated. Other than that the rooms are very clean and No roaches. Very nice . A lot of parking and front clerk very respectful and friendly. Rooms get clean every day. I recommend this hotel for the price.

God is A KEEPER! I see the same issues as everyone else, but since I had NOWHERE to go with my children just 12 hours ago, I refuse to complain about the obvious. Instead, I choose to THANK HIM for making sure we had a roof over our heads, until the next blessing shows up Remember this: there are so many people in worse situations wishing they could trade places with you and me. You never know when humility will show up to collect her dues On a positive note, the shower water was very soft and felt like it had silk and Downy softener mixed together. Very delightful

I spent about a week here. Everyone with the Motel work excellent. They always spoke to me and made me feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and free of bugs. Even though they didn't have a full breakfast which no one does these days, what they had was very good. Jai who I believe is the manager and I got to know each other very well. As with everyone else he is a very good man. Thank you for treating me so kindly. It was a great stay and I hope to come back there soon.

Great stay for seniors and disabled. Rented the room for my parents who are 65+ and my mom disabled. She said it was THE MOST COMFORTABLE STAY she's had in a hotel and that while many hotels claim to have handicapped accessible rooms, this one truly did. Check in/ out process was seamless and staff were friendly and accommodating. And great value for the price to boot! Way to go, Days Inn!

I have no complaints as of today. Check-in was quick, efficient and pleasant. The hotel is definitely old & yes there appears to be a mixture of class, some of which, not your ideal neighbors for the night, but we all bleed the same and as long as everyone acts accordingly, there should be no reason for rif-raf. The room is more spacious than most, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great location. Definite 5-stars for the price, location & overall morale. Refreshing for a single mom down on her luck.
